On Tuesday night, Gator Nation had a chance to see and listen to Muschamp for the first time since he was hired by UF athletic director Jeremy Foley on Saturday.
At his televised introductory news conference Tuesday night, Muschamp did not come across as a first-time head coach, a former coach-in-waiting at Texas. He sounded more like an established head coach who has been winning games for a long time.
Muschamp made a first impression that he is a very focused, a very driven and very confident man who has a strong belief in his plan to succeed at Florida.
One of the first things he said is he's the right man for the job.
