The offensive line...

Has looked really, really terrible thus far. Poor Tebow has been hearing and thinking all offseason about how he needs to have a better pocket presence, but they forgot one thing: you have to actually have a pocket to become a pocket passer.

I know the O line was highly touted after all the rushing TD's made last year, but is it simply possible that Tebow's godlike playing raised his teammates' stock? I heard something about how the linemen haven't had much time together in practice so far, so maybe this bye week will help to sort things out...?

What are y'all's thoughts?

Meyer claims it was mental mistakes and nothing else. Remember that Gilbert was in there because Tartt hasn't played yet. Now is Tartt really THAT important to our line? Appears that way but it is yet to be seen. Once we finally made adjustments in the fourth quarter our offense really got going. If we make them sooner, we destroy Miami and score at least 40-50 points. Hopefully the Gator staff learned that you need to have a backup plan and make adjustments sooner. Next time, it may be too late by then. Thank god for defense and special teams.

Hopefully the bye week will help.

True.

One way it could help is it may give Tartt time to get healthy so he can play by the time the Tennessee game starts. But it may also help because we will be able to spend extra time going over game film to see what we did right and wrong and that kinda stuff.
