Six members of the Southeastern Conference champion University of Florida men's basketball team received league honors on Wednesday, as the Coaches' All-SEC teams were announced. Florida had three first team honors while also getting two individual awards.

Al Horford, Corey Brewer and Joakim Noah each earned First Team All-SEC honors, while Taurean Green was a Second Team selection. For the second straight year, Lee Humphrey was selected as the SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year, while Chris Richard took home SEC Sixth Man of the Year honors.

Florida was the only school to have multiple representatives on the First Team.

Horford leads the Gators in scoring, rebounding and blocked shots, averaging 13.1 points and 8.9 rebounds per game while blocking 56 shots. Brewer is averaging 12.5 points and 4.6 rebounds per game while coming up with a team-high 56 steals. Noah, a First Team member last year as well, is averaging 12.2 points and 8.1 rebounds per game.

Humphrey, also a First Team Academic All-American, owns a 3.68 grade point average in Applied Physiology. Richard has been a rock for the Gators coming off the bench and has provided solid defense all year long, and given them scoring when they've needed it. He has been in double figures in four of the last seven games, including a 14-point outing against South Carolina on Feb. 21 when Florida clinched just its second outright SEC title ever.

The Gators now turn their attention to the SEC Tournament at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, an event they have won each of the last two years. Florida opens on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. against either Auburn or Georgia.

Chris Richard was a lock for sixth man of the year in the SEC. He should win sixth man of the year in the entire NCAA.
