Would you like some chalk with that? The basketball Gators were able to win two titles because they kept the starting lineup largely intact. Not so for the football team.
These Gators are only returning two starters on defense, and Tim Tebow is now the No. 1 quarterback following the graduation of Chris Leak. That may turn out to be good news, but it remains to be seen how the Gators will fare now that Leak and Tebow aren’t being used in tandem. Florida should still contend for a title; handicappers, though, will not find any value here.
