Meyer, Saban sound off on player agents

HOOVER, Ala. - "Count Alabama coach Nick Saban among those who has seen enough, as problems with unethical agents have crept into the Southeastern Conference this offseason.

"How are they any better than a pimp?" Saban said during Wednesday's SEC Media Days. "I have no respect for people who do that to young people."

Florida coach Urban Meyer called agents willing to break the rules to attract college athletes "predators."

And SEC commissioner Mike Slive vowed to push for change in NCAA rules."
