That statement about "one game away from playing for a championship" IS "technically true"--but that was with the 104th-ranked offense in Div. I, and we've DE-volved on offense since then! In point of fact, it is exactly just this kind of attitude/hollow rationalization that makes me FEAR beating UGA in a way: It seems like anything that even remotely ratifies the idea that "things aren't as bad as they seem" is seized on now by this Head Coach as another excuse for him NOT to change his outlook, or in turn make any real changes on-the-field. Even as we sink lower and lower with our "No Fun/No Win"-offense, Will Muschamp continues to support and protect his inept OC and insist that they are somehow still "on the right track".
