Synopsis: Zook and his staff went to 10 different states to put together this sub-par class. The uncertainty about his job obviously is an issue. The bright spot is quarterback Chandler Witmer, an early enrollee.

Why Zook wasn't let go after this year, I still can't figure out. If he's not at the top of the 2010 Coaches' Hot Seat list with RichRod at Michigan and Dan Hawkins at Colorado, he should be.

Uncertainity about his job yes, but Zook is also one of the biggest wasters of talent in college football. Seems he can haul it in, but he can't coach it to its fullest potential. Why would somebody want to go into that kind of scenario?
