Graham Mertz named SEC Offensive Player of the Week

Each of these young players are the embodiment of their respective squads' manifest progress thus far in 2023.
Just rewatched the game, then the FOURTH quarter AGAIN (that last as much or more for pleasure--and amazement!--than anything).
Among many details, the Cocks crowd mocking us with the "Chomp" something I missed at the time...The bad snap on the extra point came directly after: Don't mess with OUR mojo!
From that point on, an uphill slog somehow slowly gained traction: We really DID seem to come together, FEED off each other...Desperation seemed to turn to unstoppable determination at some point.
When Boardingham stuck a big paw in the air and came down with the high hard one at the goal line to cut the Gamecocks' lead to 3, you could feel it: Our game from that point ON.
They kept stopping us on 3rd down--and WE kept MAKING it on 4th!
Then "The CAROM". Then they rough Mertz again--but he throws the winning TD ANYWAY!
I cannot remember a final few minutes like that one.
