"No matter how calm Urban Meyer tries to sound when the subject of an inconsistent offense comes up, it’s going to take a solid performance with measurable improvement before he knows his 8th-ranked Florida Gators (3-0, 1-0 SEC East) have turned the corner. The Gators are coming off a 31-17 win over Tennessee last week in which they put 24 points on the scoreboard in the second half and gained 228 of their 317 yards so there is a little bit of momentum that Meyer hopes will carry over to Saturday when Kentucky (3-0, 0-0 SEC East) comes to town.
At his Monday press conference, Meyer said he saw signs that the offense is ready to come around but added that the Tuesday and Wednesday practices would go a long way toward letting him things were getting back to normal. Normal for 5 previous Septembers (games against SEC or BCS opponents only) under Meyer is 33 points and 397.7 yards per game."
