After a successful 2012 campaign and a few coaching position shuffles, some of the Gator coaches received pay raises. Before Dan Quinn departed for the NFL, he was making $510K, an increase of $20K from 2011. He would have received another $80K if he had stayed with the Gators through January 2014.
D.J. Durkin made $240K in 2011 and $340K in 2012 as special teams coach and linebacker coach. In 2013, he will be making $490K as defensive coordinator. His contract runs through 2013, so keep an eye on the coaching carousel at the end of the season.
Brad Lawing made $115K in 2011 and $300K in 2012 as the South Carolina defensive line coach. Now that he is at Florida as defensive line coach and assistant head coach he is making $390K with a $50K signing bonus and a $50K bonus for staying through 2016.
Joker Phillips made $1.7M in 2012 as the Kentucky head coach. In 2013 he will be making $260K as wide receiver coach through 2014.
Brian White did not get a pay raise, so his salary remains at $290K, up $50K from his 2011 salary.
Brent Pease still makes $490K through 2014, with his $100K signing bonus in 2012 and another bonus of $100K if he remains in 2014.
Tim Davis will earn $275K. Travaris Robinson and Bryant Young will each make $230K. Their contracts run through 2013.
Will Muschamp makes $2.7M through 2017. He also gets a $100K bonus for beating FSU and making a BCS bowl. He can also earn a $75K bonus for winning the SEC, and another $250K for winning the national title. He also has a $500K bonus for remaining on the team through the end of his 2016 contract (now 2017 with the extension). He can buy his way out for $500K. If he is fired, he will be guaranteed $2M for each year left on his contract.
