I am a Florida native and Auburn Alumni. You might think I am here trying to rattle some cages and talk trash. But thats not the case. Let me get this out of the way now. UF is a much better team and should take this one. But that was also the case last year. Sure we had Kenny Irons, but that was not the biggest factor. What was it?
The answer is simple. Look at your team posts. Outside of the latest one labeled 'AUBURN', in which someone is talking about their tickets to the game, there is no chatter. Sportsline.com took the game off the 'Key Dates' section just yesterday and all you hear about is the UF/LSU showdown. Just like last season, UF came into the game expecting a victory. Just like everyone is this year. This Auburn team has played poorly at QB and even when he made a good pass, the receivers would drop them. With all the turnovers we had, anyone could win. So unless that happens again, dont look past this game.
How do you beat Florida? Rattle Tebo. Take away his running game, and he losses himself in the passing game. See the second half of last years game. This Auburn defense is only better this year and is very ready for another crack at Tebo. Ofcourse he is better this season, but not much different in this respect.
If the game stays close (within 10) at halftime, this could turn into another PrimeTime Gem that CBS should have never passed on.
Good luck and enjoy the game!
