Caldwell will NOT play this weekend against the Vols. He suffered a sprained MCL and needs more rest.

Caldwell will be missed, but I'm still confident our ground game and passing game will be enough to top the Vols.

this is a big blow to the Gators.....I think the game will be a whole lot closer now

It definitely narrows the gap, but the Gators have several receivers that can step up. In week 1 we saw Cooper and week 2 we saw Ingram. Losing Caldwell hurts, but knowing we have a crop of replacements helps ease the pain.

His leadership is what we'll miss more then his playing abilities. Florida has the talent to plug in the next guy and be OK.
