Brandon James may be small in stature, but his importance to the Florida Gators success on Saturdays is nothing but extremely large. Standing only 5-7 (with his helmet on), James has probably heard all the jokes and comments over the years, but he's always managed to silence those teases with his play on the field.
Brandon James is a master punt/kickoff return specialist and can even contribute to the offense when called upon. He filled in nicely for several games in 2008 when Percy Harvin was injured.
The Gainesville Sun caught up with Brandon for a quick Q&A. You can read the entire session <a href="http://www.gatorsports.com/article/20090812/ARTICLES/908129954/1136?Title=Q-A-with-Brandon-James">here</a>.
This is my favorite question.
<b>How many touchdown returns are you gunning for this year?</b>
[James] I'm going for five. Hopefully we won't get any called back and keep the holding penalties to a minimum. We should do some big things.
