My friend from Oklahoma City sports radio station heard that yesterday and now somehow they are passing... It's not like finals make or break a grade anyways, Finals are never more then 30% of the final grade, So obviously you have love how he goes from failing to passing in less then 24 hours...

Lendy Holmes is eligible. That is what I am hearing from some people on soonerfans.com.

So the only people as of right now we are missing, Murray and Granger. Both due to injuries.

Let's hope that is all for OU this year. Last year going into the Bowl game we were missing Holmes, Murray, Reggie Smith, and Malcolm Kelly.

Not much credibility in that blog.

1. Murray is not having another Knee Surgery. He is having tendon surgery on his hamstring.

2. No one knows for sure that Lendy Holmes was ever ineligible. The reason this entire rumor started was because Lendy Holmes asked to miss a practice so he could study for a final. When this rumor started, he had not yet taken his finals. Now people are saying he is 100% eligible.

3. Try finding a source that is credible next time.

Everything on a message board is publically published as well.

And as the article says...."it is rumored." Key word rumored.


Which means, until an official release is given, then it means nothing.

That author obviously reads message boards. Because quite a bit of info on that page was inaccurate. Any real sports writer would not report that Holmes is rumored to be out due to academics. No, they would have taken one of two steps....1 Go to OU and ask the Coaches about it or 2 wait until it is actually news.

There is a difference between a blog and a message board, You would think that if he did get that from a message board, more writers would of wrote it to? That was the one single website i seen that on, Shouldn't there be more website blog writers writing that then? Funny how only one actually mentioned it. Which is if im not mistaken was the same thing that happened last year with OU then in a press conference Stoops announced that he was ineligible.

That was pretty funny though he missed practice to study, lol like he hasnt had the last 10 or w.e weeks to study.
