#59 Calvert Ray Dixon III was an offensive lineman for Galen Hall and Steve Spurrier from 1988 to 1991. He was First-team All-SEC in his junior and senior seasons of 1990 and 1991, Second-team All-American and Jacobs Blocking Trophy winner in 1991, Fergie Ferguson Award winner in 1991, and team captain on the 1991 SEC Championship squad. Cal was also an SEC Academic Honor Roll honoree all four years of his college career, and he was a member of the College Football Association's Scholar-Athlete Team in 1991.
Cal was a fifth round pick by the New York Jets in the 1992 NFL Draft, where he played center and guard until 1995 before ending his NFL career with the Miami Dolphins in 1996. He played with the Orlando Predators of the Arena Football League in 2002.
