Jeff started as a walk-on in 1997, and was awarded a scholarship for the 1998 season. Jeff is the Gators' all-time career leader in field goals completed and PATs made. He is #2 behind Bobby Raymond with a field goal percentage of 83.8%. He is #2 in SEC history with 368 points, #4 in field goals made, and #2 in field goal percentage. His career long in college was 54 yards--a kick he made against rival Georgia in a 34-23 victory. He was a semifinalist for the Lou Groza Award in 1999 and 2000. He was 2nd-team All-American in 1999, 1st-team All-SEC in 1999 and 2001, and team MVP in 1999. He graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in telecommunications in December 2001.
