HI! I am a huge Gator fan! My boyfriend isn't... He says he was watching sportscenter the other day and that they said Florida paid Charleston Southern to play against them!?! Is this true??? Because I don't believe it! Any comments would be greatly appreciated!!! Thankyou!!!

yes, UF paid them $450,000 to come play in the swamp and get their asses handed to them. It's very common for big schools to pay smaller schools to come get their ass handed to them. sometimes it back fires... see 2007 Appalachian State @ Michigan
