honestly though what does height have to do with being a running back? theres no advantage to being tall really. he's pretty thick for a high school kid.
burton looks like the only one who has the confidence to lead this team. not sure if he's ready from a passing stand point. he probably needs to be the starter next year.
i heard that since addazio has been OC the offense has went over 400 yards twice in 14 sec games, both against kentucky. I dont have a source to verify that but if thats true... yikes.
i like the play they run that starts like an option but then brantley pitches it off to a receiver on the reverse. id make rainey or debose the pitch man on this play though, theyre more dangerous in the open field than hines.
i know someone who's a southern cal fan and he's questioning the integrity of meyer for reinstating rainey. we know pete carroll ran a tight ship out there.
This situation is starting to make more sense now. Hopefully this means he'll be seeing the field more if he keeps working.

According to the "only gators get out alive" twitter page, rivals has reported that chris rainey has rejoined the team. That report hasn't been confirmed yet though.
I would think that Urban is pretty fed up with all of this too. Someone else has to start calling plays. The offense underachieved last year too, difference was we had tebow, hernandez, and cooper to bail us out all the time. This offense still has no identity after 6 games. After that swing...
why did they even recruit brantley if they wont let him throw? should just recruit option qb's if thats all they want to do. I think addazio is running coach boones offense from remember the titans. only run 5 plays, give it time and it always works, just like novacaine. only it hasnt worked and...
the defense has bad the last 2 games and the offense is out of control. theres not strategy or reasoning behind the play calling. its just random plays and hoping something works. nothing more than 10-15 yards down field though.
hes barely touched the ball all year and hes "not ready" but he made the biggest play of the year when they needed it to stay in the game. quick get him out of the game.
im not very confident in our offenses ability to score against lsu's defense but i hope im wrong. if the play calling doesnt change after last weeks disaster then it never will. ill say 20-13 gators.
