We don't have the playmakers? Yes, we do have playmakers; we're just not using them. We have a severely underused receiving corps because Tebow throws to no one not named Cooper or Hernandez. We haven't scored a lot because we're not executing properly and we're bad in the red zone. And Tebow...
I'm not complaining, rather raising questions.
We need our best effort if we're going to beat Alabama and I have several questions about this team's play when they do face Alabama.
And we're still not assured of an undefeated regular season. Rag on FSU all you want about their defense...
I'm torn as to what I want to see happen to FSU this season. I want to see them lose and not make a bowl, but if they lose a few more, I don't see how Bowden lasts another season, and I want him to stay as long as possible to keep their coaching staff in disarray.
No question FSU's loss is far worse. USF now has a legitimate claim to be a part of the Big 3 in the state. FSU is stuck with Bowden and than stuck with Fisher behind him.
Miami has more stability and is closer to being "back". And even if things don't work out, they're right in the middle...
It was still the 3rd quarter and UF was only up 31-7. Yes, he still should have been in the game.
There's no one to blame for this. It's football. There's always going to be an inherent risk of injury. It's simply part of the game.
It will probably be a very boring and sloppy game.
However, it will be interesting because both teams really need a win. Miami wants to avoid what could be an 0-4 start, and FSU wants to stay in the top 20.
They get good classes, but they don't consistently get great classes. I think you're stretching it to say they recruit "very well"
And as I said earlier, several of their recruits over the past few years haven't even qualified.
No one is worried.
We're laughing (and glad) that FSU is allowing a figure head to remain as coach that continues to keep the team in mediocrity. And what you're talking about recruiting happened in FSU's prime in the 90s. In today's college football world, FSU doesn't recruit well, and some...
He plans to coach in 2010

Another year FSU will be stuck with him.
Don't forget Marve also left a little while ago.
Imo, this is primarily because Harris is firmly established as Shannon's QB. And the reason for that is Harris is from the 305. Players from miami will almost always get precedence over those who aren't.
But this will be a fun season to...
Zook's response:
"I was surprised to see that, once again, five years later, we're blamed for
something else at Florida. But by now I guess I shouldn't be. This one was
most disappointing because it implies we didn't look out for our players.
From someone who wasn't there at the time. I...
After a recent practice, Urban Meyer offered up a glimpse of the football culture he inherited when he arrived in Gainesville in 2005.
Clearly, the Gators were a team divided in the troubled Ron Zook era. That was in part reflected by the way the true freshmen were treated.
Meyer said when...
That's what Bobby Bowden thinks:
"People keep asking me about Tebow," Bowden said. "You know, is he the best ever? I don’t know if he’s better than Charlie. I don’t think he runs better than Charlie. I don’t think he throws better than Charlie. And Charlie only played [quarterback] two years...
