Stay or leave? (cue Dave Matthews guitar)

As we all know, the SEC was battered and beaten up by critics this year mainly because the West was so putrid.
Tomorrow we find out whether or not Alabama and Georgia get in. If they do, six teams isn’t bad for a down conference.
But let’s look to next season. Will the conference be better?
Well, it depends. Who declares for the NBA Draft and who stays?
One reason Florida was so good this year is it had three seniors, two of whom were with the program for four years. The Gators shouldn’t lose anybody early, although there have been some discussions that the NBA scouts love Patric Young’s body.
If the league is going to be a force next season and get those important non-conference wins, it will have to catch some breaks. You figure Renardo Sidney is gone for Mississippi State but Dee Bost says he’ll be back. Kentucky probably will lose at least one, maybe two and possibly three one-and-doners.
Vandy’s juniors aren’t committed to coming back, according to a story I read in the Nashville Tennessean last week. Travis Leslie and Trey Thompkins could both leave Georgia. Does JaMychal Green bolt from Alabama? Tobias Harris and Scotty Hopson from Tennessee?
And you never know about transfers (see: Ben Hansbrough).
The league has some really good players coming in, but it needs some guys to stay as well.
