Gators' Demps not thinking 1,000 yet

"The number caused Florida Gators sophomore running back Jeff Demps to pause just a second and fight back a rare smile.

"I think about it sometimes," Demps said about running for 1,000 yards. "That's natural (as a running back). But at the end of the day, I've got to take it one day at a time."

There's too many running backs to share time with for Demps to have 1,000 yards. Jus being the leading rusher out of the group should be enough reward.

Demps is looking to be the main RB and it wouldn't be out of the question to see him achieve 1000

I'm sure he'll get drafted in the NFL with or without a 1,000 yard season.
