Gainesville, FL Florida football senior center Drew Miller (Sarasota, Fla.) was invited to participate at the 83rd-annual East-West Shrine Game as a member of the East squad the University of Houston Athletics Department announced Wednesday. The annual game for college football prospects will be on Saturday, Jan. 19, at John O’Quinn Field in Houston’s Robertson Stadium televised on ESPN2 at 6 p.m.
Miller was honored as an All-SEC Honorable Mention selection by the Associated Press and was the Southeastern Conference Lineman of the Week for his efforts against Florida State in which the UF offense compiled 541 yards of total offense. He has started all 12 games he has played in this year, marking the completion of his transition from guard to center. Miller was also an All-SEC second-team pick by Rivals.com.
