Florida's Marreese Speights to enter NBA draft early

GAINESVILLE - Florida sophomore center Marreese Speights had decided to enter the NBA draft but does not plan to hire agent, Gators Coach Billy Donovan confirmed.

If he does not hire an agent to represent him, Speights can still change his mind about leaving early and return to school.

Speights, 6- feet 10, is from St. Petersburg. He started 35 of 36 games for the Gators, who finished 24-12 and lost in semifinals of the NIT to Massachusetts.

He averaged 14.5 pionts and 8.1 rebounds.

Sad to see him go. I really think he could have been a HUGE STAR next year if he worked on his game in the offseason. He'll be a bust in the NBA.

I hate to say this but I hope he flops like Kmawe Brown. That idiot should stay one more year. Shaq, Yaq, Dwight, and every other center should make him regret that decision.
