According to multiple reports, Florida hired South Carolina defensive line coach Brad Lawing into a similar position for the Gators. Lawing had worked at SC for a total of 17 years with a stint under Nick Saban at Michigan State and near his hometown of Hickory, NC at North Carolina. Coach Lawing will be a welcome addition to the Gators coaching staff.
