Something weird about this one--but I've come to trust Muschamp's judgement when he lets a kid go quickly and easily, with a "we wish him best of luck in his future endeavors"-shove out the door: so far, it has almost always turned out to be a case of shedding another "talented headcase" (a plethera of whom Meyer & Co, stuck us with the last couple of years, and which we're only just now finally weeding out of our streamlined-and-gaining-momentum program).
Shaw's going after some sort of "hardship waiver" so he can play for USC immediately, too, it seems--so either there IS more to this story, something genuine and personal, or it's a sleazejob he and Kiffy dreamed up to con us AND the system, in which case it's more likely to be a matter of two losers deserving each other, AND the unforeseen, unintended results, you know? Stay tuned, I guess...
