I don't believe i have ever seen the SEC as strong as it is now - this is an excellent article rating the conferences (this is the SEC page of the article)

Great article. If the SEC didn't beat each other up because of all the tough games in conference, we would probably have the National Champion teams for the least 6 years in a row.
