James Michael "Mike" Pouncey played both offensive and defensive lineman for Urban Meyer's Florida Gators from 2007-2010. As a freshman, he filled in on the defensive line due to lack of depth on that side of the line and recorded 8 tackles and an interception. As a sophomore he started all 14 games at right guard, including the BCS National Championship Game. As a junior, he made the All SEC and All American teams at right guard before replacing his younger twin at center for his senior year of 2010. Mike was the 15th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft and played all 16 games at center for the Miami Dolphins.
