According to his wikipedia page, Jarvis Moss was considering retirement and came back because of Rick Ross.

It was rumored that he was chided into returning by gangster-rap artist Rick Ross in an internet exclusive diss-track entitled "I'm the only one whoz name should rhyme with hoss." In the track Ross raps how Jarvis is a disgrace and looked like a botsy-boy (rastafarian) for being sweet, while chasing Troy Smith around in the Florida Gators victory over Ohio State Buckeyes in the 2007 BCS game.

What a load of crap. Leave it to some pampered entertainer to make a crack like this. Our players may have been a little bit soft under the Zooker, but you can't be a nancy-boy and expect to play for Urban Meyer.

During high school he acquired a staph infection which was not found and treated until midway through his collegiate career.

And who does he have to thank for getting that diagnosed and treated? Yep - Urban Meyer.

Jarvis Moss was a hell of a player while at Florida - I guess he's just one of those guys where Football isn't a passion. He got his payday and then he was done. The only reason he's not retiring is he'd have to give back millions of dollars from that signing bonus.
