"Marcus Gilbert informed the media Tuesday he is moving from right tackle to left for the rest of the season. That means, of course, Xavier Nixon has lost his job as Florida’s left tackle.
Nixon, a 6-foot-5, 300-pound sophomore, has played left tackle his entire life. Everyone knows left tackle is the premium spot on the offensive line. But Nixon said he is on board with the move.
“If it’s what’s best for the team, if it’s what gives us a W at the end of the day, that’s all that matters,” he said."
