That title says it all. We didn’t gain much ground—but didn’t LOSE much either...
As things stand, one way or the other at SOME point we will HAVE to take the big chance: Risk it all on “WIN OR LOSE”, on an overall throw-of-the-recruiting-dice.
As things stand now, THIS year’s overall immediate “success” or “failure” will ultimately now be judged for example according to things like whether there’s an outstanding RB out there for us to grab late—either still undeclared or currently buried in the vagaries of the transfer portals.
After all: The big question remains, “Are we able to get enough better from here, OR are any of the handful above us about to fall enough behind to make “The DIFFERENCE”?
Time, fortune and ensuing events will tell the tale.

It sucks that yes they are in the top 10 but 6th in the SEC (though 2nd in the Eastern Division) but there's still February. Plus sometimes even the recruiting rankings don't mean much. Remember when the Gators had to top class in 2010. Yes there was the Sugar Bowl in the 2012 season but a 4-8 season followed and two more seasons (2011 and 2014), they barely made it a bowl game. Heck, Dan Mullen did more with less in Miss State.
