Steve Spurrier is 6-0 in coaching debuts

    After tonight's Orlando Apollos victory, Steve Spurrier is now 6-0 in coaching debuts!

    The Apollos feature six former Gators:
    • Austin Appleby QB
    • Chris Thompson WR
    • Earl Okine DE
    • Leon Orr DT
    • Will Hill S
    • Josh Evans S
    The team also features five former Noles, four Knights, and three Canes.

    The coaching staff features the following coaches with ties to Florida or Spurrier:
    • Willie Jackson, WR coach, former Gator
    • Lito Shepherd, S coach, former Gator
    • Scott Spurrier, TE coach, son of Steve Spurrier
