TJ McCoy will use his final year of eligibility at Louisville after graduating this past fall. TJ was an early enrollee in the NC State class of 2015, but he enrolled at Florida for the fall semester and sat out due to transfer rules. He played in four games in 2016 as a backup center. He was hospitalized after his scooter was involved in a hit-and-run accident. In 2017 he emerged as the starting center, but was injured later in the season. In 2018 he was used sparingly and did not accrue any statistics. TJ will rejoin his NC State recruiter, Dwayne Ledford, at Louisville.
