The main thing worth noting (besides the injury "(NON)Report" also posted here) regarding this one against UTM Skyhawks was how Filiepe Franks really stepped up as far as his calm poise and accuracy: He approaches his business that way game in/game out rest of the year, doesn't let pregame hype or the pressure of reputation and social media affect him as it has seemed to do in the past (he went 23 for 25, made all the throws long and short, with touch or power as required by the situation) and our QB will truly BE esconced as QB-1--and quite possibly, with nothing but wins (including what would by then be those against UK and UT to begin SEC play, he'd enter the Auburn game with his growing status being stacked up against that of Cox's, the currently much-publicized Auburn signal caller, as the "hot young new star on-the-rise" in the SEC.
