THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH
The Ohio State coaches appear determined to fill a void left in their offensive line pool from the past two recruiting classes, and they're doing it with large fellows.
Blue-chipper Michael Brewster of Orlando (Edgewater), Fla., yesterday became the sixth commitment to the class of 2008. It was a big get, and not just because Brewster is 6 feet 6 and 305 pounds.
"The OSU coaches went into Florida and landed a guy the Florida Gators really wanted, and a guy that Southern California, Louisiana State, Alabama and lot of other people were trying to get," said analyst Bill Kurelic of the Ohio Football Recruiting News.
"This is big news, as far as Ohio State should be concerned, and it might get even bigger."
