Historical Perspective of Urban Meyer’s Florida Gator and Bowling Green Offenses

Honestly, the 2009 Sugar Bowl should have been the list. Nothing Gator related (besides the Douche successor coach in Utah) though it was nice to see the mighty Bama lose to them.

That is the problem with putting together a list--the list is never 100% complete or accurate to the reader. This list was fine in terms of "games revolutionizing the spread offense". The 2009 Utah-Alabama Sugar Bowl was not really a defining moment in spread offenses. Utah was still running a variation of the Urban Meyer offense and that offense was not blowing away a lot of teams with innovation.
