Florida Gator Head Coach Billy Donovan earned his 300th victory at UF with a 68-65 win over Auburn on Wednesday. The Gators are now 15-2 on the season and 2-0 in SEC play. You may remember a week or so ago, I posted about how the Gators needed to start off SEC play hot. With back-to-back wins over Auburn and Ole Miss, they've done just that.
Nick Calathes and Alex Tyus continue to lead the team in the box scores every night. Tyus just had his third double-double of the year and Calathes was recently named SEC Player of the Week.
Florida will be back in action Saturday when it hosts Arkansas for the third SEC match-up of the season. Tip is slated for 2 p.m. from the Stephen C. O’Connell Center and the game will be broadcast live by Raycom Sports.
