Mike White left Florida with a record of 142-88 (.617) after going 101-40 (.716) at Louisiana Tech. Golden reportedly was the second choice for Scott Stricklin, with Dayton head coach Anthony Grant (101-51, .664 at Daytton; 294-151, .646 overall) being rumored as the first choice. Golden is reportedly being signed to a six-year contract.
