Florida Gators Win SEC Title #250

Congratulations to the Gator men's tennis team for winning the University of Florida's 250th SEC championship! The Florida Gator athletic program prides itself on being "the everything school". Maybe within the next few years the football program will add to this list, but for now let us celebrate this monumental occasion! The Gators have now won 258 conference championships in the SEC and other associated conferences:
- Baseball - 15
- Men's Basketball - 7
- Men's Cross Country - 3
- Women's Cross Country - 6
- Football - 8
- Women's Golf - 9
- Men's Golf - 15
- Gymnastics - 12
- Lacrosse - 9 (see below)
- Soccer - 14
- Softball - 8
- Women's Swimming and Diving - 17
- Men's Swimming and Diving - 41
- Women's Tennis - 29
- Men's Tennis - 11
- Women's Indoor Track and Field - 8
- Women's Outdoor Track and Field - 6

Fun facts:
- Florida has earned at least one SEC title across all sports for 43 consecutive seasons
- Florida's 250 SEC titles is nearly 100 more than runner-up Tennessee (156)
- Florida also has 9 titles lacrosse counted against the Atlantic Lacrosse Conference (ALC) from 2011-2014, Big East from 2015-2018, or American Athletic Conference (AAC) from 2019-present.
- Florida has won 39 national team championships and 275 individual championships across 14 sports
- Florida's 20 national championships since 2006 are the most in SEC
- Florida is the only school to finish in the top 10 in the last 30 annual all-sports rankings
