The annual Florida vs. Florida State rivalry game is just a few days away. The Gators come into this game ranked No. 4 in the BCS Standings and the Seminoles are well... they're ranked just a little lower at No. 20.

But in a game like this, all rankings can be thrown out the window. Florida State in embracing the spoiler role and would love nothing more then to beat the Gators and knock our National Championship hopes down the drain. The Gators can't let that happen. They need to stay confident and treat this game like it's the biggest game of their college careers.

Urban Meyer outlined several items in his "Plan to Win"

1. Play Great Defense - the Gators 1st Team Defense hasn't allowed a touchdown since the LSU game. They're ranked No. 1 in interceptions vs. Top 25 Teams, and ranked 3rd overall in scoring defense.
2. Turnovers - Florida is +18 in the turnover margin this season, which is No. 1 in the nation. The Gators must pressure Christian Ponder and force him to make turnovers.
3. Score in the Red Zone - The Gators have scored on 47-of-51 trips to the red zone this season. The must not turn the ball over on downs or fumbles when in the red zone. When playing rivals, you need points on the board.
4. Win the Kicking Game - The Gators are averaging 15 yards per punt return; and only 4 of UF's 11 opponents have started a drive in Gator territory. Special teams is crucial. The Gators don't have to score on special teams, but they can't give up any to the Noles.

This is going to be a big game for a lot of Gators. Guys like Spikes, Harvin and possibly Tebow may not play FSU again. The NFL will be calling a lot of Gator players. They need to make the most of this final regular season game and bring home a win.

My point prediction - Gators 49 Seminoles 14

Remember, if you aren't able to make it to the game or watch it on TV (November 29 on ABC at 3:30 EST), head over to the Gator Envy Forums for the live gameday discussions.
