Just was looking through Mike Kryzewski's coaching record at Duke... it's kind of similar to Donovan's in some areas.
Coach K won back to back titles in 90-91 and 91-92 ... and Billy Donovan won back to backs in 05-06 and 06-07. Before winning their first title at the school, both coaches had made 7 previous NCAA Tournament appearances.
Coach K didn't win his 3rd title until 9 seasons later and even missed the NCAA Tournament during that stretch between titles. I'm hoping that something similar is happening to Billy. We can't lose faith him him yet. It took Coach K 9 years to win another title, so if it takes Billy 9 years then we have 6 more years to go!
