That is what I feel above all else at this point.
Just abject ANGER, through and through.
And its growing progressively stronger as I consider last night's game.
Where was THAT Gator team, the one we saw in the Swamp last night, THROUGHOUT SEPTEMBER??!
Once AGAIN, to start the season this Coach somehow failed to have his team ready:
He consistently displayed poor and unimaginative play-calling THROUGHOUT SEPTEMBER!
And worst of ALL is this bad taste in my mouth, the result of feeling that the team on the field yesterday would likely have not just won but DOMINATED at least TWO of those 3 September losses (maybe not beaten Miami, but likely made a much better GAME even of THAT one)--better prepared, a smarter gameplan, better PLAY CALLER and we're headed to College Station next week at 4-1--and this whole SEASON is looking a WHOLE lot different..
SO: YES, I'm angry.
'Cause NOW there's no real clear and/or neat way forward...Yeah, we need some bigtime changes, but there doesn't appear to be any "quick fix", some way to just change out what ain't working and yet still KEEP this talented roster (let alone in addition retain the top-ten recruiting class that reportedly was so uniformly "IMPRESSED" with what they saw out there in Gainesville yesterday).
I just KNOW that in order to break OUT of this floundering flip-flopping between "promise" and "poison" that we MUST finally cut ourselves loose from this Coach's incipient mediocrity...
Get rid of his LEAD SHOES if we ever wanna FLY.
