For the 17th time since 1992, the Southeastern Conference will bring together its two division winners to determine the winner of the SEC title. Florida finished 11-1 in the regular season and was the SEC Eastern Division Champion with a 7-1 league mark. Alabama enters the game as the Western Division Champion with a 12-0 overall record and a 8-0 SEC mark. The game will kick off at 4 p.m. in the Georgia Dome on Dec. 6.

I'm a little worried that Vegas has put the Gators at 10-11 point favorites against the No. 1 team in the country. It seems like Alabama is not letting it get to them though. "People have written us off as underdogs before and we've proven them wrong," Alabama linebacker Cory Reamer said. "It's nothing different."

Urban Meyer's Plan to Win:

1. Play Great Defense - Florida has outscored opponents, 136-3, in the first quarter over the last seven games and 160-10 on the year. The Gators are also ranked 2nd in the nation in interceptions with 23. If they can play defense as these numbers indicate they can, then they have a great shot at winning.

2. Turnovers - Florida’s +21 turnover margin this season is first nationally (school record +19, 2002). UF was the last team in the nation to turn the ball over in 2008 and they haven't turned the ball over in five of 12 games this season. Protecting the ball is a key to victory.

3. Score in the Red Zone - The Gators have scored on 53-of-58 trips inside the red zone and have been perfect in seven of 12 games. They can't afford to leave points on the board in the SEC Championship game. Alabama will punish them for mistakes.

4. Win the Kicking Game - Last week it seemed like FSU was starting in Gator territory after every kickoff. The Gators cannot afford Bama that same luxury. The Gators have blocked five punts, seven kicks and one extra point this season. Getting a block against Alabama would be huge.

My own personal key to victory: Stop Glen Coffee. He's one of the best running back's in the SEC and is running for 6.2 yards per carry this season. He's a big back at 6'2" so we'll need to stuff the line.

Don't forget the game can be seen live on CBS at 4:00 PM EST on Saturday. I encourage you to log into the Gator Envy Forums and Live Chat during the game to chat with fellow Gator fans.

Go Gators!
