    Projected Depth Chart for 2014

The reason I've placed Taylor as the starter is because I am originally from Tampa, (currently in Huntsville, AL) and played high school football there in the late 90's. My high school and Matt Jones's high school has played each other many times in the past, matter of fact they're currently in...

Gator Bites, Week 14: Florida Gators vs #2 Florida State Seminoles

Lot of next season's success will be based on the new OC and OLC hires and how many of the injured players are healthy enough to participate in spring ball. Those 15 days of reps will prove crucial for setting the battle grounds for fall camp and position battles and getting guys acclimated to...

This picture is an example of the problems with our team, add a caption.

Honestly, I have a bigger problem with Jon Harrison our 3rd year starting center that weighs in at 310lbs could not pancake block our 194lbs receiver Quinton Dunbar. Not to mention that those are two of our offensive leaders on the team.

    Offensive Coordinator Hunt (UPDATED)

What are your feelings on Rick Nuheisel? I feel he is just like Lane Kiffin but not nearly as big of a douche bag. Pro-style offense, HC experience, OC experience, great recruiter, develops QBs. The only difference is that Nuheisel is a West coast guy thru and thru. Doubt he has the connections...

Gator Bites, Week 13: Florida Gators vs Georgia Southern Eagles

Exactly, not to mention the guy was coach of the year last year and not that far from the BCS NCG.

What if: Cam Newton stayed in Florida

Who would have been the OC? Dan Mullen was already named the HC of MSU during national championship game and Billy Gonzalez was always overlooked by Meyer.

What if: Cam Newton stayed in Florida

He wouldn't have turned out to be what he is today. Steve Addazio would have been his OC. No development.

    Offensive Coordinator Hunt (UPDATED)

I'd like to add a name to that list. Lane Kiffin. Douche bag, yes he is but you would also have to say he is a great recruiter (especially Florida area) and has been for years. He knows offense and is a great play caller. Runs a NFL style offense that Coach Boom prefers. My only problem with...

Could they bring back Dan Mullen?

Mullen and Muschamp have different offensive philosophies. Mullen spread option attack while Muschamp prefers two back sets and multiple TE's. Not to mention they would have to change the type of athletes they recruit. Can't see that type of hire happening. I could see someone like Rhett Lashlee...

    Kiffin got fired from USCw

It was inevitable. Great recruiter, play caller, and I really enjoyed the swagger he brought. Awful as a leader, decision maker, and motivater. I so happen to want the latter three traits to be used first when describing my head coach.

A Good Article, with some good points

You do not need a dynamic offense to win championships. You just need one that can execute the plays called without the mental errors and blown assignments. Take advantage of the opportunities that the defense presents. And just hit open receivers. I'm satisfied with Pease and his play calling...

A Good Article, with some good points

I completely disagree with the notion that we need to reign in the playbook and force Driskel to become a one read and run quarterback(anyone around here that thinks Murphy is going to lead us to Atlanta if Jeff gets hurt) . With that mentality he won't make it to see Jacksonville. This is the...

    What is wrong with this?

Ummm, I'm pretty sure the term is defense wins championships. Of course you can't turn the ball over 5x's and expect to win.

    Anyone miss Cheeseburger Charlie yet?

I haven't lost faith in Pease. We turned the ball over 5 times four in the red zone. I was little concerned about our running game but I'm pretty sure that will be adjusted over the bye.

    What is wrong with this?

I think you guys are going a bit overboard with the Muschamp hate right now. We won eleven games last year, we're recruiting really well, we have a top flight defense every year (defense wins championships). Offense is improving. We had five turnovers against a rival school. WE SHOULD LOST BY...

Load of Bull: The Evolution of Jeff Driskel

Outside of that first interception, Jeff really played a good game. That second interception could be placed on T. Burton just as much if not more so than Jeff. He got to snap his head around quicker on that route. What concerns me was the lack of production from the running game, Matt Jones...
