The New York Knicks expect to sign restricted free agent David Lee to a one-year contract at some point after Labor Day, officials familiar with the talks said Friday.
Knicks president Donnie Walsh said he doesn't think a Lee sign-and-trade...
I heard some radio show host... i forget his name, say that Eric Berry is the best defensive player in the SEC right now and could be the best of all-time?!
What do you think about that comment. I know he's good, but I haven't paid too much attention to him. Is he really that much better than...
This is just for fun... do you think if the 04s (Horford, Noah, Green and Brewer) would have returned for their senior years last season would have been able to three-peat and win the NCAA over a good Kansas team?
Can we start recruiting this kid or what? He's Fred Taylor's son and is tearing it up as a 14 year old!

Recruiting services are beginning to notice Kelvin Taylor, but college coaches might want to wait before they woo the son of Jacksonville Jaguars running back...
Hope this doesn't turn out like USC's jock itch.
Meyer said quarterback John Brantley and wide receiver Carl Moore were battling staph infections but he did not believe the two would be out for any length of time. Both apparently did not practice on Tuesday.
Looks like Florida isn't the only SEC team hit with the injury bug. Georgia is having to recast its plans for its offensive line after losing starting left tackle Trinton Sturdivant for the season.

Just read this on ESPN.com:
What do you think? Is the SEC too crowded with great coaches? No other conference has 5 coaches with national championships.

BATON ROUGE, La. -- LSU quarterback Ryan Perrilloux returned from suspension and could be allowed to practice with the team by Monday.
Perrilloux, who finished last season as heir apparent for the starting job, must make up six workouts...
I'm a bit concerned about our defense in 2008. I know they were very young in 07 and that's why they weren't good, but now the Gators have lost their defensive coach and their best line player in Harvey. I'm worried that we won't see any improvements.
During NBA all-star weekend they do the rookie vs sophomore challenge. Al Horford is listed as the starting C for the rookies.

Gators need to take full advantage of their nationally televised game tonight. Whether they win or lose, a lot of people will be watching and coming out strong in this game could help the Gators get in the Tourny.
Do you think players on the team get jealous of all the attention tebow gets? Tebow gets shuttle from the stadium to the practice field in a golf cart, while everyone else has to walk. I'd be concerned if this continues. It's not good for the team if he rises above it.
FSU looked like the FSU of old (sort of) against BC. They came out throwing the ball, which they haven't really done all season. Is FSU on their way back up? If they win out (probably won't because they have to play us), they will be a top 15 team.
