Will Patric Young come in an be an instant contributor as a freshman? He'll likely be coming in off the bench, unless Billy decides to keep Parsons in that role. Can we potentially see like 10 pts 7 rebounds average from him right away?
I can't believe preseason basketball is already here next week. I'm really excited for Gator hoops this year and hope that we can make the tournament and advance to the Sweet Sixteen.
What are your predictions for the Gators? Will we make the tourney? Or end up in the NIT?
Arkansas and Alabama play this weekend... who do you want to win the game? Does it benefit Florida if Alabama were to lose this game? Do you think they might 'give up' and it would be easier for Florida to beat them next month?
Would you rather Alabama be undefeated when we play them?
Thank God those initial reports weren't true. I can't stand those stupid vuvuzelas and am glad we won't have them at our football games.

Our Gator friends at Gator Tailgating have a campaign going to raise money for a giant interstate billboard outside of Tallahassee
It's expensive so I'm not sure they'll be able to afford it but man would that be sweet...
Kentucky is never going to win with this philosophy. Sure they'll win 25 games every year but they are not going to win a championship with a bunch of "one and dones." Duke did it the right way this year by building a team of talented players, but not super stars. They had upper classmen with...
I actually thought we would return everyone except Werner, but it looks like Alex Tyus might be going pro. He submitted his name to the NBA Draft, but has yet to sign with an agent. That means he can still back out and play at Florida next year. I really don't think he's NBA ready yet -...
Not a surprise here - Tim Tebow was selected by EA to be on the cover of NCAA Football 11.
ESPN has a long interview with Tim about gaming and such. It's prett cool.

February 21-28 is Coaches vs. Cancer week for college hoops. You see a lot of the players and fans wearing special 'I love hoops' headbands - proceeds go to supporting cancer research.
Florida Gators Pro Day will be on March 17. It's always been open to the public. It's a pretty cool event. You can just walk in and watch the players workout, run their 40s, etc and there will be scouts and agents everywhere.
Florida has surrendered 11 touchdowns this season, four fewer than any other team in the nation. UF is the only team in the country allowing less than one touchdown per game on average.
Mark Ingram will play on Saturday, but he won't be 100%. He's dinged up from a hip pointer he suffered against Auburn. The Gators need to hit him and hit him hard. Without an effective Ingram, they will have a tough shot at winning.
What does this guy have to do to earn a starting spot on the team? He's constantly scoring double digits. I saw pull Werner from the starting lineup and put in Chandler.
I was looking over Vanderbilt's recent games and noticed the put up 31 points on No. 11 Georgia Tech last weekend. They lost by 25 points, but still. What surprises me is that non of those 31 points came from 4th quarter garbage time. They had 28 going into halftime.
Any chance they put up...
LSU plays Alabama this weekend. I'm guessing we want an undefeated Alabama headed to the SEC Championship. But does it really matter? If LSU wins and Florida takes care of business then we'll still be in the National Championship game.
Who do you want to win?
