I find it interesting how many of you saying Dunlap shouldn't play don't take into account the rest of the team and seem to think keeping Dunlap from playing is the only way to punish him.
I think ideally, there must be a way to severely punish Dunlap, yet not let that punishment hurt the...
I agree with your idea that lots of people just like picking on Florida since they were #1 all season and they were the team many loved to hate and all that. Also, I respect that you're not that fickle in that the first sign things don't go as planned, you're not calling for heads to roll or...
I've seen bits and pieces of the Bearcats and have always been impressed with their offense.
Their defense on the other hand makes me think UF could put 45+ on them...at least until I watched the SEC title game.
With careful and effective planning, Alabama has shown that UF, despite its...
Yeah, I know.
I just couldn't believe our offense was that anemic and our defense was that porous yesterday. I'm sure there are some explanations that I don't know about, but geez.
It's amazing how much 3 weeks versus 3 days can help the underdog prepare for a bowl game, not to mention...
I saw that too, but I didn't know if it was Ingram who did it.
If I recall correctly, didn't Alabama do similar actions in Tuscaloosa after beating us 31-3 (or something like that) in Urban's first year at UF?
I blame a few things.
1. Dunlap not in the game
2. Spikes playing much of the game hurt
3. Flat out good preparation, game-planning, and play-calling by Alabama.
Hernandez was open, but Tebow threw a bullet instead more of a lob. But who's to say Alabama's DB wouldn't have been able to adjust in time and intercept the ball then?
As has already been said, we got flat out beat.
I knew Alabama was capable of beating us, but dominating us like that? Geez.
Good luck Crimson Tide and represent the SEC in January!
Perhaps, but it's easier to kick a 3rd string player off the team than a star player (with respect to its effect on the rest of team). But then I suppose it creates another dilemma: should a less "important" player get a more severe punishment just because they're not a starter?
There's no...
I have no problem if Dunlap is kicked off the team, but why should the rest of the team should be punished for Dunlap's mistake?
I'm not putting life before football. I can't stand DUIs and frankly, I would have no problem with MUCH more severe penalties for DUIs. It's one thing to punish...
