Week 5 SEC Power Rankings with FPI

Many SEC commentators have said this in so many various ways:
"When Anthony Richardson has a good day, the whole Florida TEAM looks good!"
But that isn't necessarily the case--and the fact that UF doesn't necessarily WIN every time that happens (witness the Tennessee outcome) ought to be a clue to what we actual Gator fans already know from bitter experience:
It is our porous DEFENSE that in the long run truly stands between what is developing into a dominant, AR-led offensive juggernaut and competing for Championships.
OR, to put it another way:
Players do their jobs, defense at least holds its OWN, and we WIN some of these closer games (LAST season's game against Mizzou we LOST, 23-to-24, after all)--and the FPI numbers rise accordingly.
As a result then, the actual "cause-and-effect" flow can be interpreted to read in either direction.

Quite a turnaround after all those years of (and successive Coaches') vain efforts to somehow revive and restore the moribund Gator offense to its former glory.
Don't look now, folks, but it has finally HAPPENED...It is now of course our DEFENSE which is the frustratingly limiting weakness.
