Just reminding y’all, (for the benefit of whatever “shadowy guest-interlopers” among those whom I notice sometimes appear to “pop up” among what has currently melted down considerably just since LAST season) pointing the way over to our already-extent “Gameday Thread” Escambia so thoughtfully (if perhaps a bit prematurely) posted here a coupla days back the “reliable handful of us” will be there round kickoff (11:00am Eastern) today, mmmhmmm, if anyone else is inclined to join us!
I’m as excited as HELL to see what we’ve got, coming INTO this very strange season. With all the pitfalls, traps, fears and unknowns, never have the opportunities and/or potentials for breakout glory been so clear and strait forward!
And now (FINALLY!!!) the other two “Big Fellas” have officially announced THEIR participation in the “national proceedings”:
The Big Ten and now the Pac 12 have officially (if belatedly) announced their places in this thing. At least they managed to get it done BEFORE things got TOO far out of sync!
It’s still a bit of a MESS, at this point—but still basically “DOABLE”, I think...
But for now, LET’S JUST SEE ‘EM PLAY, damnit!
