It’s the start of the 2nd half of the SEC Championship; I managed enough “sporting interest” to watch and analyze—but that’s getting more difficult: Hard to CARE about EITHER of these teams on any deeper, emotional level—except to consider what degree we rate each relatively as a rival and/OR opponent!
Only question here REALLY seems to be if/WHEN LSU finished last this one in victory, how badly a drubbing buries UGA from the CFB—some say the Sooners punched THEIR Ticket already earlier, but I'm not so sure; it is certainly obscured at THIS POINT in time. Our main concern is OUR present and future—and I think that’s pretty clear: We are heading to The Orange no matter HOW you slice it—and that squares up nicely with how we can end 2019, continue to build our image, and resume preparing to “take that next step”...
We MUST keep winning; That goes DOUBLE when next we face an elite SEC rival in 2020. We’ve got to start consistently and CONFIDENTALLY WINNING THOSE next year: It’s THERE our “BREAKTHROUGH” stands, awaiting us to SEIZE OUR DESTINY.
But that’ll have to wait til NEXT season.

LSU, Clemson, and those idiots from Ohio punched their ticket. Oklahoma is more than likely going in especially since Utah choked hard in their conference championship game. Man, I want Oklahoma to beat those suckeyes. I know what's his face isn't coaching them and I still hate them. Next season, the Gators have a good chance at least getting the SEC East title that Fromm is gone and also Burrow is gone. The schedule should be in the Gators favor especially since a certain Gator Bait coach is coming back to the SEC and yes they are playing his new team. Also, FSU has a new coach.

Thing is, CLEARLY LSU is getting badly treated in that “room” I keep hearing about where they supposedly “hash all this out”...What business do MOST of these people have in “rating their eyeball test” in the FIRST PLACE? The majority, as I understand it, are ADMINISTRATORS: They neither played nor coached The Game, but at this point we have traded a beauty pageant run by reporters for one held by THEM! And they say an OSU team that has played mostly second rators is BETTER than an LSU team that has BEATEN FIVE TOP TENS ON THE FIELD!
Me, I am watching the climax to Raiders of the Lost Arc—and it holds more (and better) answers than that “Committee” does—no matter HOW LONG it spends in that damn “ROOM” of theirs.
As for LSU “getting shafted”, well, they are just catching a relatively small backwash of what we, as Gators, and they, as current embodiment of “SEC Dominance”, have faced, well, like FOREVER...Oh, they’ll all POINT to that same Dominance as proof it ain’t so, but when they have a chance to slip a knife in our backs, they always do. Always DO.
“Welcome to the “TOP”—of Major college football, Ed Ogeron and the LSU Tigers...Now, let’s see what you’ve WON...”

...So: LSU slips by into the #1 seeding. Now both teams playing in the middle-seeded game have Coaches claiming an emotional edge from somehow “being unfairly devalued”:
OSU: “WE were Number 1 coming IN and WON OUR GAME!”
Clemson: “We came into THE SEASON ranked number one and WENT UNDEFEATED!”
To one and ALL I remind you:
This was SUPPOSED to be about how you played, game by game THIS SEASON. You want “Last Year” to count for something? Tough.
You were counting on some mythical “eyeball test” from a bunch of “backroom beancounters” to carry you through? Too damn bad.
NO one knows what’s fair here, who’s really “better” if/when it ain’t proved ON THE FIELD. So go PROVE it.
Now, on a personal point, I gotta admit:
I REALLY wanna see The Ohio Urban Meyers get their ASSES FRIED ON NATIONAL TV!!!
Aside from that, well, I suppose I lean towards LSU, just in terms of Conference solidarity and the continued idea that when you win the SEC, you have ALREADY won something—damn near won it all ALREADY!
THAT’S a trend and general concept that needs to carry on, imho.
