Franks is also throwing off balance. I think that injury is worse than we thought.

The Gators can adjust the offensive blocking scheme, and try some new running backs. If Franks really is injured we might see Kyle Trask. On defense the loss of CJ Henderson is certainly being felt.

I have never SEEN Mullens simply "lay down", have his team "play not to lose any worse" before.
Everything about our team's demeanor, players on and off the field, Coaches TOO, since that penalty that got the Franks TD taken off the board, has been tentative and haphazard.
Nothing short of some kind of miraculous "rebirth" of Gator pride and confidence when they come out in the 2nd half will change what seems the inevitable outcome of this sad performance.
It isn't just that we are losing. We are playing SCARED. Scared and confused, with a complete lack of cohesion. And I don't see how it can change--not to the degree necessary to change this game's seemingly unavoidable outcome.
Consider this: WWTTD? "What Would TT Do?" How would HE react, first out here BEFORE the half, then in the Locker Room, then when he led his team back onto the field after halftime??? And does ANYONE believe we will see anything LIKE that kind of leadership from Feliepe Franks now? From ANYONE ON THIS TEAM?!!
Because THAT is what is required here--for the sake not just of this game, not even just for THIS SEASON: Either SOMEONE steps UP right here, right NOW--or you may as well cash in your chips, gentlemen. Write off not just this season but whatever it is y'all had in mind in building this whole damn PROGRAM!!!
I MEAN it!
Someone has got to somehow light a fire here NOW! We have got to somehow find that fire in ourselves RIGHT AWAY, play the rest of this one TOGETHER and with WILD ABANDON, or you can just kiss it all goodbye. OK, we may still lose--but either we find something within ourselves and come together, show it OUT THERE and go down FIGHTING, or this team just won't be worth WATCHING.
Who FEELS what I am saying?

(Whew! I wish that outburst actually made me feel any better. But it didn't. Let's face it--the ONLY thing that MIGHT help would be a Gator rally--and who can expect THAT, at this point, based on what we've seen so far? Yikes--I can hardlg watch anymore of the game as it is: it is on, but the sound is off and I am texting THIS rather than watching the play-by-play... I actually expect to look up and see BAD things happen to us! And they are. We continue to flounder; they continue now to drive. Nice job "getting it right" at halftime... This is the first time I have actually begun to feel disgust for our coaching since Mullen got here.)

I can't do this alone. I tried, friends--but it is too painful. Unless we somehow pull a rally out of our asses, I won't flog this dead horse any longer.

Goodnight, friends. You KNOW where this us headed--and Mullen shoulda known it too. No miracles here tonight: Kentucky was, IS better than us. There. I said it. Painful as it is to admit, at this point it is the truth. Now we are down BOTH cover guys! This is turning into a complete disaster. Won't be back unless/until well, you know...

Well, personally I could see something like this coming: I thought Mullens shoukda gotten Filiepe outta there mu h earlier--and it was getting to be for HOS good too. Now he is FINISHED. For the season at least--you could see it.
I wanted Filiepe Franks out of there--but NOT like this. This is really sad.

Yep. Now what? And why Trask???
Your season is vaporizing before your eyes, and you out in the journeyman backup--leave the potential future star sitting on the bench? Brilliant.

Maybe MULLENS isn't the guy, after all.
I thought the problem was ultimately Franks, but now...
I mean, this is the chance to make tge big move..."A star us born"-type of situation--or weren't you ready for that, Uncle Dan? Seems like you shoulda BEEN--This was always a possibility.
As it looks now, we may just be going through the motions here..."We'll regroup during the week...".
BUT WE STILL HAD OVER A QUARTER LEFT TO PLAY HERE!
